My name is Charity Vazquez:

I am married to my best friend, biggest fan, second shooter, "silent" partner and the love of my life, Christian.

I am the mother of 4 adorable, messy, hilarious and inspiring children.

I am much better at telling stories with my photos than with my words.

I am pretty much obsessed with lip-balm.

I wholeheartedly feel that coffee should be a food group.

I am a life long artist and self taught photographer

Reading is my favorite indulgence

I intend to travel the world (with a camera stuck to my hip of course)

I believe if you put a little love out their it will grow so "let love grow" is my motto and my way of life.

Wedding Photographer: Tasha + Warren

CONGRATULATIONS Tasha and Warren!!! I just LOVE this couple. Last week I got to fly back to Kauai for this wedding and I was so excited. Tasha is such a sweetheart and she was such a beautiful bride. I met these too before I moved to Kansas City and had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session. Their wedding was so beautiful and and had so much emphasis on detail, everything was perfect…. everything except the ten inches of rain that fell on their wedding day! I was so worried for them knowing how excited they were for their storybook wedding! Both Tasha and Warren absolutely impressed me with how calm and unbothered by the weather that they were. All that mattered to these two was that they were about to be married, no matter the weather! Everything turned out beautifully!!! It was an honor to photograph this wedding. We are on the Move!

As all of my faithful followers know, I have been running my business while simultaneously juggling four children, house work, and being a wife…SUPER POWERS ACTIVATE! But now it is time to head in a new direction. We are going to be moving to the mainland for a bit. This decision is bittersweet for me as I was raised on Kauai and ALL of my girlfriends are here! OMG what will I do without my girls!!!!

I am also excited. It will be good to push myself out of my comfort zone and challenge myself creatively and spiritually. It will also be nice to reconnect with family members who live afar.

BUT WHAT ABOUT ALL OF MY KAUAI CLIENTS!!!! Have no fear I will be traveling to Kauai 5 time next year for wedding shoots and while I am here I will be available for all of your photo needs too. So remember I am still taking bookings but SPACE WILL BE VERY LIMITED. To my clients from all across the US I will now be traveling across the country much more, so feel free to inquire if you are looking for a photographer to capture your special day!

Kauai is my home and that will never change, but this is something we must do for now. So this is not goodbye, it is only until we meet again.
